cook!
With my heart still heavy for those in NZ
I am in disbelief with the tragedy in Japan
My woes about ankle deep water in our basement :: Minor.
The fact that I can’t see the floor of my car ::non life altering!
My complaints of sleep deprivation :: trivial.
The rug can be replaced.
I’ll eventually get to the car.
One day I’ll sleep.
::
People are hurting.
Thousands of miles away.
Big or small.
Lend them a hand.
Please.
To keep busy.
So not to dwell.
I’ll cook.
it soothes my soul.
Be well.
xx

So glad that you stopped by my blog…. and so happy to have found yours! Your photos are beautiful! And I love your “lightening my load” mentality…. and pursuit. We’ve dedicated this coming weekend to doing a little bit of that ourselves. Salvation Army, here our stuff comes!

Hi!
You stopped by and visited me – my pics from Wallaby Ranch – and said you were in the U.S. – we are too -that’s actually in Florida, believe it or not. I love your writing style – it speaks to me. We have something in common, i also go to the kitchen to cook as a form of comfort. Years ago, during the Katrina nightmare, I had a small tv in the kitchen and i chopped, and i cooked, and i baked, all the while crying it out for those poor souls in Louisiana.
I will be following

Thank you for kind comments on my writing,it is hard to push publish, you know, the worry, then I remember that I want it to be real,to be me,speaking from within and that makes it easier.BUT having comments like this are the best:0)
Cheers for that:0)

Oh, cooking is a good remedy. I find that baking really calms me, even when not faced with such monumental tragedy.
